Deuces Wild is a card game which incorporates an essence of slot features, developed by Play’n Go. There are no reels or paylines, as it is a table game, but it has an RTP of 93.77%. Winning hands are similar to those from classic poker, with extra opportunities available with a Wild card. There is also a Gamble feature where you can try to boost your prize pot with every win.
If you’re looking for a table game where you don’t have to play the dealer, then Deuces Wild may be one for you to try. With similarities to poker in the ways to win, it is quite easy to get to grips with what makes a valuable hand. The inclusion of Wilds is a big help in creating those higher card combos, too.
Prepare your Bet
The minimum coin value you can stake is 25p, which can be increased up to a maximum of £5 per go.
To step up your bet, you can increase the number of coins per hand played between 1 and 5.
If you click the + or – buttons to either side of the middle meter, you will also notice that the light blue column showing the prize amounts moves along. This is because you are playing more coins so with an increased bet comes, hopefully, increased returns.
Not your first time playing Deuces Wild? If you’re feeling confident with how it works, you can play more than one hand at once. Select the number of hands played in the third meter, from 1 up to a maximum of 100 hands at once! Of course, your total bet will reflect this, so be sure you are happy with your stake before you hit that deal button.

Winning Hands
There are ten different hands which you can win with in Deuces Wild, so if you aren’t familiar with them, here’s the lowdown.
For the record, 2’s are Wilds, and Deuces! Wilds can substitute for any other cards. The game is played with one deck of cards.
Natural Royal
A hand with Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10, all in the same suit, without using any Wilds, is the Natural Royal and is the best hand in the game.
Four Deuces
If you can create a hand using Four Deuces, you will have done well. You could be looking at a return of 200 times the coins per hand you are playing.
Wild Royal Flush
Using a Wild to create a hand of Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, all in the same suit, will give you a Wild Royal Flush. You can expect a return of 25 times your coins per hand if you manage this.
Five of a Kind
Five cards of the same rank will land you Five of a Kind. We’re thinking the Wild could come in handy here, creating a fifth card of the same rank in a one-deck game.
Straight Flush
A hand showing five cards of the same suit in sequential order is a Straight Flush. You’re not playing against a dealer here, so regardless of the value of the highest card, a Straight Flush will win, with a return of 8 times your coin per hand bet.
Four of a Kind
Four cards of the same rank are, you guessed it, Four of a Kind.
Full House
A hand which contains three cards of one rank, and a pair of another rank, is a Full House. The two sets of cards don’t need to be the same suit, just as long as they are the same rank in the trio and the pair separately.
Flush
Any five cards of the same suit, in no particular order, will create a Flush.
Straight
Five cards in sequential order, regardless of suits, can give you a Straight.
Three of a Kind
A trio of cards of the same rank will be Three of a Kind.
How to Play
Now that we’ve got to terms with what’s what, here’s how to play.
When you click Deal the first time, five cards will be revealed. If you can spot the makings of a good hand, you can choose to hold some of the cards in place and replace the others.
The paytable is displayed at the top of the game, so you can be reminded of the value of each hand. When you’ve decided which cards to hold in place, click Deal again and those not held will be replaced.
If you’ve got a winning hand, the game will tell you, you don’t have to work it out yourself. If not, a big ‘Game Over’ will politely tell you that, too.
Gamble or Collect
If you create a winning hand with Deuces Wild, you then have the option to either Collect the winnings and start with another hand, or to Gamble.
A Gamble on the winnings will risk all winnings from that game.
You have the option to either choose the colour or the suit of the card to be revealed. An incorrect guess at any point will quit the feature and you will lose your winnings.
If, however, you guess correctly, you can do so up to five times, granted that each guess is correct. With every correct guess, your winnings will grow.
Be sensible with this feature, you wouldn’t want to lose your winnings every time, but if you feel like you could do with a prize boost, it is an extra dimension of excitement for you to play with.
What the Deuce?
All in all, Deuces Wild is a game different to what you may be used to in the world of slots. If you’re new to table games, you may at least be familiar with the Wild and its powers of substitution.
Once you get to grips with how the game works, it is an enjoyable one to play. If you would prefer to play it using your keyboard buttons instead of a mouse, you can do that! Ultimate comfort.
