How to Play Elements: The Awakening Slot Game

In this game, the elements work together to help us make the most of the reels we spin. Set upon a backdrop of big rocks and a volcano with a lake surrounding it, we are set up for a game showcasing the natural elements at their finest. The graphics are top-notch, with animated floating symbols in a modern take on the classic reel look. There is quite a lot going on, but all will become clear soon.
Set up for the Elements
The 20 paylines are fixed and will all be in play throughout, so you don’t need to worry about those when setting up your stake.
You have power over the coin value and the bet level, so you can personalise your bet in whichever way you like. The coin value can be adjusted between 1p and 50p per payline. So whichever value you choose, remember it will be multiplied by 20 to create your coin bet.
In addition to your coin bet, you have the option to boost your overall bet with the bet level. This can be increased between 1 and 10 and will be multiplied by your coin bet. Any wins will also be multiplied by the bet level on top of anything else.
Awakening the Wins
Match three or more of the same symbols on a payline to win. The more symbols you can match, the higher the payout.
There are higher-value and lower-value symbols associated with each of the elements.
Fire is at the top. An orange fireball rapidly spinning with a little figure made of rocks floating on top of it, this symbol can award you up to 1500 times your coin bet for landing the maximum of five on a payline. You will recognise the smaller version with a fiery orange middle, offering a pay out of up to 100 times your coin bet.
Next up is Earth. In the larger green circle, it looks like we just have some floating rocks, so we’ll roll with it. The maximum you could get for landing five of these green symbols on a payline is 750 times your coin bet. The smaller symbol with the green lines flowing through it is the mini version, with a potential win of up to 75 times your coin bet.
Air has a little creature with wings, and a purple background. Five-of-a-kind of our little flying friends can award you up to 500 times our coin bet, and the smaller one can pay out 50 times.
Water is the final element. In a light blue circle with goggles and bubbles, you can see the last mascot. Five of these bigger symbols on a payline can award up to 300 times your coin bet. The smaller light blue bubbles can pay up to 50 times the coin bet.
What about Special Features?
Wild
There is a 3D cube symbol which can appear amongst the other symbols on the reels. This is the Wild symbol, and although not as colourful as the rest of the symbols, it can substitute for any of them. You unlock potential to make or extend winning paylines when you land Wilds, it’s just a case of landing them in the right place at the right time!
Avalanche Meter
Instead of spinning, symbols fall down onto the reels. Symbols in winning combinations will explode and disappear, allowing for more symbols to ‘avalanche’ into the empty spaces. For every fall which creates a win, the avalanche meter will increase by 1 point, up to a maximum of four. Each spot on the avalanche meter is the little diamond shapes.
Four or more consecutive avalanches will activate one of the Free Falls modes.
Free Falls
Each of these modes awards you ten free falls. With each mode comes a different Wild feature which can really help to boost your line wins!
Fire Storm Mode
In Fire Storm mode, the fire storm wild can appear on the three middle reels. Its ‘power’ is that it can expand to cover reels one and five. Any positions it spreads across will also turn into Wilds.
Air Storm Mode
If your free falls are in Air Storm mode, two Air Storm wilds will fall randomly on the columns in the first free falls column. They will stay on the reels for the rest of the free falls. After the first fall, they may move positions, giving you some different opportunities.
Earth Storm Mode
In this mode, Earth Storm wilds can land on any of the middle three reels. Each of these Wilds will stay on the reels until they have either been part of a winning combo, there have been three avalanches or there are no more wins.
Water Storm Mode
Again, this one focuses on reels 2, 3, and 4. The Water Storm Wild can expand vertically, all the way up the column in which it lands, turning them all Wild.
In Your Element
Once you get to grips with all of the features, the Elements slot is a very enjoyable game to play. With quality design and animations, there’s a futuristic look to it. The movement of the little creatures on the reels adds an extra dimension of detail to the production. It’s the little things which made the bigger picture very impressive.
