Place Your Bets
With no paylines as such, there is no need to bet against anything. We are simply placing a bet to spin, and so there is only one thing to decide on when placing your bet.
There is a stream of numbers below the reels which are the different values you can bet. Use the + and – arrows at either side of these to explore other value options.
The minimum bet per spin is 20p, up to £100.

Crystal Wins
Each of the different crystal symbols in Gemix has a different value. You will need to create a cluster of at least 5 symbols to be awarded. So long as the matching symbols are connected horizontally or vertically, you have the makings of a cluster.
The most valuable of our gem selection in the Gemix slot is the golden star. Matching 15 or more of the stars in a cluster will get you the maximum reward, which is 1000 times your bet.
Fifteen or more red hearts in a cluster will show you the love with a whopping 500 times your bet.
The pink moon and the orange flower are also very high in value, particularly if you can get big clusters of them! Top payouts for clusters of fifteen or more of the moons or flowers pay out 200 and 100 times your bet, respectively.
Slightly lower in value but still offering good payouts for big clusters are the rest of the symbols. We’ve got the green diamond, purple square, light blue and dark blue shapes in order of worth. The maximum payouts for these gems vary from 30 to 7.5 times your bet.
Shimmering Special Features
Crystal Charge
If your reels are lucky enough to land twenty or more symbols in the same spin, you can trigger the Crystal Charge feature. There are four different features which can be triggered.
You may spot something which looks like a crystal ball spinning to the right-hand side of the game. It is here where you will see any of these features activated.
- Light Beam: One symbol will burst out of the crystal ball and onto the reels. Wherever it lands, it will wipe out some adjacent symbols and transform them into new ones which have some of the same symbols next to each other. This could be the building of a new cluster.
- Chain Lightning: Two corner symbols are connected with a lightning bolt, and everything on the path is turned into the same symbol. If the lightning path works in your favour, you may be able to build up a decent cluster.
- Nova Blast: One symbol on the reels will explode, getting rid of surrounding symbols. The remaining symbols will then fall down into the newly made spaces, allowing new symbols to fall into place.
- Crystal Warp: One symbol on the reels is targeted, and then all matching symbols will be warped into other ones, too. Hopefully, this can help to build up a big cluster payout!
World Pattern
There are different worlds to work through, and in order to progress, you will need to clear the world pattern. Just below the crystal ball is a screen which depicts a pattern. This pattern is also reflected on the reels.
Managing to clear a pattern will bump you up a level where you will be given another pattern to crack. The first world is a miner hunting for jewels, the second is a fairy-tale princess, and the third is a wizard's world.

World Wilds
With new worlds come new world wilds. There are three lots of wilds. Remember, Wilds can substitute for any of the standard symbols to build up clusters. These features are activated on non-winning rounds.
- Mine: In the first world, the miner’s lamp is the Wild. Up to 10 Wilds can appear.
- Fairy-tale: In level 2, the lollipop is Wild, and can spread from edge to edge.
- Wizard: The wizard’s wild is his spell-book. Up to 8 sticky wilds can appear in different positions.
