What is the Mini Baccarat Online Casino Game?
Mini Baccarat is an online version of the classic casino game, developed by Play’n Go. There are no reels or paylines, with it being a table game, but the Return to Player (RTP) is 98.76%. Bets start from £1 and can increase up to £100 per hand dealt. The aim of the game is to correctly predict which hand will be the highest, or if it will be a tie.

Place Your Bet
The options for your bet are displayed at the bottom right-hand side of your game. Simply select a chip and then click in the circle which you hope will be the winning one.
If you want to increase your bet, click again on top of your original chip, and another will be added. You can increase the stake with all chips except the £100.
Should you wish to spread your bets out, you can choose to spread your bet over two, or even all three, circles.
If you decide to change your bet, click on the X chip to the left of the £1 one, and then click on the chips on the table you want to remove. This will remove the whole bet and you can start afresh.

Card Values
Firstly, any card between 2 and 9 is worth that amount.
Ace, as we see in other table games, is worth 1, and only that.
Any card which is either a ten or has a face on it, so the King, Queen and Jack, are worth zero. In fact, the word Baccarat actually translates as ‘zero’ from the game’s origins back in the 1400s.
A zero value might make you think ‘what on earth?’ but when the aim is to get to 9, you won’t be wanting a card at the value of 10 or more.
Game Rules
Total hand values cannot exceed 9. So, if you land a hand of cards which is up into the teens, ten will be subtracted. You may then be in with a chance again to have a hand closest to 9.
Two tens has a value of zero.
The player and the dealer have slightly different rules on when they can deal and must stand, but to keep it simple, we’ll just cover the player rules.
If the total of your first two cards equates to any of the following, you will draw a card: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10.
Land 6 or 7, and you will stand while the dealer still may be able to deal.
If, however, you land an 8 or 9, this is called a natural. You must stand, but also, the dealer can’t draw. In this case, if the dealer lands a natural, you won’t be able to deal either.
Winning
Bets placed on the player are returned if you win in this Mini Baccarat online game. If the dealer wins, the bet is returned but 5% is returned to the house. So, if you bet £1 on the dealer to win and they do, you will get a total payout of £1.95.
A tie, however, has the best payout at 8 to 1.
